It was just last week that Mini had announced that they are leaving WRC and now Ford has confirmed that post 2012 season, they are also pulling out. The reason cited is Europe's poor economic stability. Ford's partners in WRC, M-Sport will however continue to rally with the Fiesta WRC. So far in 16 seasons, the team has got 208 podium finishes and 52 wins, since 1997. They are also in talks with Ford to ask and continue them to support with the cars and service backup. Ford is however yet to confirm if they will return to WRC, should the economic conditions in Europe improve.
