Jamshedpur, Oct 13 (PTI) A class XII student of a school here bagged three gold medals in the XVIth Association of Schools for the Indian School Certificate (ASISC) meet held at Valsad, Gujarat recently. S Darshana a class XII student of DBMS English School here bagged three gold medals in the meet held on October 8-9 last, said Rajani Shekhar, principal of the school, here today. Darshana was emerged champion winning gold medals in 100 m free style, 100 m butterfly and 50 m butterfly events, the principal said. 18 swimmers including ten girls in four groups (Junior and Senior) represented the Bihar and Jharkhand region, which won altogether six gold and two bronze medals, she said.
