Nava Bharat Ventures ' net profit rose by 156 percent to Rs 62.5 crore in the second quarter of current financial year 2012-13 from Rs 24.4 crore in a year ago period.
Net sales grew by 13 percent to Rs 289.6 crore in the July-September quarter from Rs 256.7 crore in the corresponding quarter of last fiscal.
The share rallied 6 percent to close at Rs 186.85 on the Bombay Stock Exchange.
