Woman, daughter killed in house fire

Gonda (UP), Oct 24 (PTI) A woman and her minor daughter were killed after their house in the Dhanepur area here caught fire, a senior official said today. Nankun Devi died on the spot, whereas her daughter Roshni (13) and son Ajeet (11) suffered serious burn injuries when their Mujehna village residence caught fire from a lamp last night, Superintendent of Police Navneet Kumar Rana said. The girl died on way to the hospital, he said adding, Ajeet, who continues to remain in a serious condition, has been referred to Lucknow for treatment. PTI CORR AVA PG KAS
