Swiss Finance Corporation (Mauritius), the largest public shareholder , sold 0.6 percent stake in Apollo Tyres via block deal on Friday.
The firm reduced its stake in the tyre maker from 8.01 percent to 7.41 percent by selling 30,38,858 equity shares at Rs 72.79 a share on the National Stock Exchange.
Apollo Tyres' stock on Friday closed at Rs 73.80, up 8.37 percent from previous close.
