Mehraboon Irani, Principal and Head-Private Client Group Business at Nirmal Bang Securities told CNBC-TV18, "Around Rs 3100-3200, I am a buyer in Infosys . A lot of people are feeling that they have not been able to buy Infosys; this is the best possible chance to buy. The stock may not do too many things in the short run. The IT index may possibly fumble another 2-3 percent, but one doesn't need to look at a stock like Infosys in that way."

"I would say that the correction which has come in the stock is a great buying opportunity for longer term. I would not be surprised if we have a special dividend coming from Infosys with the cash they are sitting in the books and the fact that they always have a special dividend every second calendar year. The last one was in April 2012; I will not be surprised if we have a Rs 60-75 dividend coming," he said.
