Guj discoms now approach appellate tribunal for electricity

The Gujarat discom has challenged the CERC order which has given compensatory tariff to Tata Power and Adani Power.

After Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan, it is now the Gujarat discoms that have approached the appellate tribunal for electricity.

The Gujarat discom has challenged the CERC order which has given compensatory tariff to Tata Power and Adani Power. CERC gave an order for compensatory tariff of Rs 830 crore to  Adani Power and Rs 330 crore to Tata Power 's UMPP in Mundra. The appellate tribunal will now hear the plea of all four states on May 22.
