Kunal Bothra of LKP Securities is of the view that one may hold ITC.
Kunal Bothra of LKP Securities told CNBC-TV18, "One can hold on to ITC . It is time to probably shift a little bit more towards the defensives, for anyone who is looking to avoid those short term volatility even in the pharma stocks like some Sun Pharma and Ranbaxy at this point, could be a good bet."
"My anticipation is that ITC could probably head towards the Rs 342-343 levels in the next couple of days assuming that the markets continue to remain in a volatile fashion like what we saw on Friday as well as today," he added.
On June 16, 2014 ITC ended at Rs 336, up Rs 2.30, or 0.69 percent.
The share touched its 52-week high Rs 386.75 and 52-week low Rs 304.50 on 16 May, 2014 and 28 August, 2013, respectively.
