Hero Moto or Bajaj Auto: Which is best two-wheeler bet now?

Market experts Kunj Bansal and Phani Sekhar debate on which is the best way to play the two-wheeler story - Hero Motocorp or Bajaj Auto .

Phani Sekhar, Fund Manager - PMS, Angel Broking feels the comparison between the two is unfair as Bajaj Auto is competing with Hero Motocorp on just 42 percent of its revenue. 58 percent of Bajaj Auto's revenues come from exports and three-wheelers where Hero doesn't have any presence.

In an interview with CNBC-TV18's Anuj Singhal, Senthil Chengalvarayan & Sonia Shenoy, Sekhar says that while Hero gives a strong domestic presence, it will give a very good presence in scooters.

Meanwhile, Bajaj Auto has its presence in exports, three-wheelers where Hero is not there. The former has an excellent presence in executive and more importantly premium segment where Hero is not very strong.
