HSBC is looking to raise a whopping Rs 575 crore buy selling its land parcel in Worli, Mumbai, says CNBC-TV18's Alex Mathew, quoting sources.
It is a 1.3 acre plot in a prime location adjacent to the DD Tower and the Glaxo building. The total saleable area is estimated at 1.2 lakh square feet.
HSBC has already received approval for the sale at a group level, and has appointed CBRE as a consultant. However, the bank declined to comment on CNBC-TV18's query.
Valuations for residential properties in the area are around Rs 40,000-60,000 per square feet.
