A good trading session was witnessed for the Nifty. The bulls are back in the game because the global cues were fairly positive. From the start itself the Nifty held onto some good gains. Towards the end of the trading session it build on those gains and that is why the Nifty was up more than 100 points at the end of day.

Private banks as expected led the charge in today's session.
